Rocki on vacation III - horror day

My Mama's Dad's summer house does not have a fence, so I must be on a very long leash all the time when being outside. My Mama even bought a very thick one, so my chewing wouldn't tear it apart within a few seconds - but today it did...

I believe I made my Mama have a horror day today! I escaped...

I did not hear her calling my name or so, I was so busy running and running and all of a sudden I was standing on the street with very many cars. Aaaaaah!

A very nice person stopped his car and picked me up and took me home to his house - and thank god my Mama put her phone number on my little jewelry I wear on my necklace so this nice person called Mama and she could pick me up there.

Now, laying next to Mama and relaxing I imagine what I did and how bad it could have ended. I bet Mama will have nightmares tonight!

Rocki on vacation II - the butcher

Mama's hometown Bayreuth is DEFINITELY better than this stupid town of Ulm, where we still live, so Mama is right!

• Waiting in front of the butcher in Ulm I only got a little bitty tiny piece of sausage.
• And waiting in front of the butcher in Bayreuth I got a COMPLETE "Wienerle"

Yes, that was good and no, I am not becoming a Wiener dog now :-)

Rocki on vacation I

Yeah - finally on vacation!

It was very stressfull to get to my Mama's home town - I like riding in her car (a great convertible) very much, but everything on the Autobahn and on the streets is so exciting that I just cannot lay down or go to sleep in the car. I was standing the complete journey of 3 hours on the passenger seat (yeah, my Mama made two breaks to give me a short walk) and I sat down only for a few minutes, but never layed down, I could have missed something.

Then I met my Mama's Mom and her Grandma, and her Mom was VERY pleased to finally get to know her grand-dog! She loves me already.

And after that we finally arrived at Mama's Dad's summer house on the "Oschenberg" where there will be a BIG surprise for me waiting once it is renovated (says my Mama ) and I could relax.

But see yourself :-)

This is my place in the shadow outside - I got everything I need,
my ducky toy, some bones to chew on and fresh water.

Watching the huge grassland for something moving.
I already caught a mouse, a lizard and several bugs and ants!

And it is so relaxing after hunting on my pillow in the shadow!
Btw - my leash is about 50 meters long (~150 feet)

Aaaaah....

So biiig - and I got to watch it all.

A visit at aunt Esther

Before we went on vacation we did a quick visit at aunt Esther from CanisPro. She is the one who I have to thank so much, because she organized my new home at my Mama, the flight and everything.

I finally got to know 3 of her 6 dogs: Hanna, Bine and Rombo. Wow, that was so much fun to run with the crew through the fields. And my Mama actually let me off the leash the first time today. I think I did kind of good, I always came back, although it took very long one time - I just forget time and everything else when sniffing all this new stuff.

Thank you Esther and Mama, today I had the best walk ever!

Vacation!!!

Yippieh - my Mama said we will go on vacation today!

She promised me very big grasslands to run on and many many trees to mark as mine!

No flowers and plants for Mama this year

Finally this week Mama made our patio "Rocki-safe".
Yes it is on the 2nd floor, but on the side of the house you could kind of walk up from the street - also meaning I could run down there and escape.

Wow, I am really enjoying it to have the terrace door open the whole day and I can go in and out when I want. It is not big, but I can watch "my" street and bark at people.

And I guess Mama will not have any flowers on her terrace this year *blush*

Hmmm, that is good!

My Mama is trying to give me real healthy food, and being interested in "BARF" she is mixing some of this stuff in between my (also very healthy) normal dog food.

Look what I got :-)
