A great day at the lake

This fall is so beautiful and the sun is shining every day, so my Mama goes with me to a lake whenever we have time. I love to jump into the water, especially the frogs on the shore when they jump into the water are very exciting - as you will see on the pictures when you only see my butt sticking out of the reed :-)

Met a photographer during a walk

The other day my Mama and me met a really nice photographer when doing a long walk. My Mama said she would need some nice pics of me and the nice man liked to do this for exercising.

My Mama took a first video from me, she told me it is only a very "shitty" old camera and so the quality is really bad, but you can see how I mess up Mama's living room and love to play between her laundry :-)

Rainy Days...

Have you seen me before when it is raining and my coat got wet?

Well, the little hair that I have is standing straigt up in that case :-)

And by the way - I just couldn't live without pillows any more!

Wagging with my tale while sleeping...

Hello, this is Mama writing, not Rocki :-)

Rocki is currently sleeping and snoring next to me on the couch. And all of a sudden he started wagging with his tale like crazy - this must be a very nice dream :-)

Rocki on vacation VI - the last day

Aaaaah - vacation is good, and so relaxing!!!

And on the last day we drove to my Mama's family again.

Here you can see me with her grandmother (my great-grandmother :-)

Rocki, this was my place, she said to me :-)

But we both fit on her couch :-)

And the hardest part was to leave my new girl-friend behind.

The neighbor-dog Penelope has become my best friend!
... but I know I will see her again soon, when we will be moving to that area.

We loved to sleep side by side outside.

And then we were pulling a Teddy Bear each from one side.
That was fun!

And I loved to sleep on the neighbor's terrace - always with some toy with me.

I had some great vacation with my Mama and I cannot wait to get back and move to that area so I can see my new friends more often!

Rocki on vacation V - good days

I have found new friends!
The really nice neighbor at my Mama's Dad's summer house invited me to come into her yard with a very good fence to run around without a leash. What a fun that is!!!

The 3 dogs from the neighbor stayed in the house first, we made a slow start... But it did not even take 5 min starting with the girlie dog to friend them. Even the alpha male became my friend very quickly.

Now I can be in that yard every day when my Mama is having a cup of coffee with the really nice neighbor and I can run - AND - clean up the neighbors house :-)
My 3 new friends have so many toys in the house where I think these need to be outside - so I am carrying them outside, one by one...

And I don't know what's wrong with Mama and the neighbor??? Every time I carry something new outside they start cracking up and almost falling under the table laughing. I don't know, they must have gotten a sunstroke or so... 

I think it looks really good with all these blankies and toys in the yard, I really love arranging this nest every day!

And in the evening when walking back to Mama's Dad's summerhouse we start relaxing. Unfortunately there is no couch or so, only 1 armchair. But it seems like I am not supposed to sit up there, my Mama has put all this firewood n'stuff on it, so I wouldn't jump on it (I guess her Dad doesn't want that nice chair to become muddy from my feet).
But I still made it! There was not much room on it left, but yes - I made it :-)

Rocki on vacation IV - relaxing

Chewing on my bone (no, not on the leash this time).

After my Mama and I had a horror day we spent the next day just relaxing and doing nothing.

Do you notize the first part of my 50 meters leash is a chain now, so I won't be able to chew on it any more.
And on top of that my Mama never took her eyes off me that day.

Yeah, she loves me!

Watching the yard, some deer or bunnies may show up.

... I hear something rustling in the bushes

... a mouse?

... a lizard?

... squirrels?

Definitely mice under the palettes.

Rocki on vacation III - horror day

My Mama's Dad's summer house does not have a fence, so I must be on a very long leash all the time when being outside. My Mama even bought a very thick one, so my chewing wouldn't tear it apart within a few seconds - but today it did...

I believe I made my Mama have a horror day today! I escaped...

I did not hear her calling my name or so, I was so busy running and running and all of a sudden I was standing on the street with very many cars. Aaaaaah!

A very nice person stopped his car and picked me up and took me home to his house - and thank god my Mama put her phone number on my little jewelry I wear on my necklace so this nice person called Mama and she could pick me up there.

Now, laying next to Mama and relaxing I imagine what I did and how bad it could have ended. I bet Mama will have nightmares tonight!

Rocki on vacation II - the butcher

Mama's hometown Bayreuth is DEFINITELY better than this stupid town of Ulm, where we still live, so Mama is right!

• Waiting in front of the butcher in Ulm I only got a little bitty tiny piece of sausage.
• And waiting in front of the butcher in Bayreuth I got a COMPLETE "Wienerle"

Yes, that was good and no, I am not becoming a Wiener dog now :-)
