2.5 days in paradise - and I finally showed my Mama that I can bark!!!
Why? There was this annoying dog in that box where people are in and talk in my living room. I often stand in front of it and watch and when this other dog started barking, I also had to.
Man - this is loud in this apartment, I believe I am so loud, but my Mama was proud of me. Burglars will be very afraid when I start barking!
Have a nice day - and see you here later again.

The 2nd day in paradise!
Last Night
I hate to say that, but somehow I have to poo and pee at nights. I believe I am used to that from my old kennel. Of course I don't want to wake up my Mama, she is sleeping so quitly, so I just look for a place that I think fits perfectly. So once I chose the big space on the carpet in front of the TV and then I chose to use the kitchen. Oh man, that was so good to empty my stomach, it was quite bugging me. But as good as the food is, I am just not used to it, so my little poo mountains (Mama: "Little? They are huge") are a bit liquid. But I guess my Mom understands, she did at least not rail at me.
Puuuh, but it stank worse when Mama cleaned my "sh..." up, than when it came out of my stomach!

I love my new Mama!
This is soo nice when the 2 of us are snuggling on this huge couch in the evening. I am laying on my back then and Mama gives me a belly rub - aaaah, that feels so good!
I made it!
Of course I had to do my business again in the morning, so I had to go outside into that damn stairway again. It still looks so slippery to me. But I guess the 1.5 hours that my Mama had to wait for me to walk the stairs down were a bit too long for her nerves, because this morning she just took me on a short leash and had me walk next to her down the stairs! She did this very self-confident and quick, so I didn't have time to think. I don't know how I made it, but all of a sudden I was standing outside - I just walked down the stairs with my Mama on my side and it really worked out pretty well.
Yeah, now I can go outside as often as I want to!
And guess where we went to - to a huge shop where it smelled all like dog food :-)
My Mama bought some food for sensitive stomachs, so I wouldn't have this diarhea any more. And I also got a new collar, which makes me feel much safer when walking outside and with this one it is impossible for me to slip out. So we are safe!
And the best there was: the nice lady where we had to pay gave me a little treat at the end. I love this shop :-)
My first jewelry
On the way to that shop we came by on such a little house where a nice man was working. My Mama stopped there and talked a little with him and guess what I got after this man did some work - some jewelry for my necklace! Yes, and you even can read my name on it and I think I heard Mama say that her phone number is on the back side. So if I may ever get lost, people can just call Mama and she can pick me up again then (but I really don't wanna get lost, she is sooo nice to me).
I hope you had fun looking at my first experiences in Germany and I hope you will visit my blog soon again to follow all my new adventures.

I am sooo tired - in my Mama's office when she is working |
And it doesn't hurt at all laying on my bone |
Ups - I forgot my bone in bed and my Mama found it. |
But chewing in bed is best |

The most exciting day in my life!!!
You wouldnt believe what happened to me yesterday...
The past 2.5 years I lived in a kennel, where some really awesome people fostered me, after they picked me up in a killing shelter near Barcelona in Spain.
Well, at least I knew I would stay alive, I got food and water every day and the people were nice to me and all my neighbors in the shelter of CanisPRO.
But other than that it was pretty boring there. I knew these nice people had a homepage set up for me on the internet, so that some even nicer people would come and pick me up - one day...
I guess this day happened yesterday, but I had no clue it would be so stressful. They got this huge crate for me. OMG, I was so afraid, they were just pushing me into it, the kennel was much better than that.
So the first day in my life I was riding in a car - and guess what - flying in a plane. Wow, that was sooo exciting.
Anyway, there were so nice people at the airport (they said Munic, wherever that is, and it was a bit colder there) they took me out of the crate and guess what - I got lots of treats, fresh water (that tasted so much fresher than in Spain) and they took me for a short walk. Man - that was so great, I could stretch my legs and found some fresh grass to chew on.
But it seemed that I wasn`t home yet, because they opened the door into another crate, well much bigger, but not like my kennel. I believe they called it car, or more specifically "Cabrio" or "Convertible".

I had no clue how to get in there.
I couldn`t look fast enough and the girls lifted me in there, I think I was a bit too big to sit in the front seat, so I stood with my front legs on the seat and the back legs on the ground (I believe that was the wrong way, but I had no clue how it could work out any differently).
After almost an hour on the Autobahn it was so uncomfortable I had to move, somehow I got my legs backwards (I believe I stood between the 2 front seats with my back legs) and the front legs on the seat, but damn, I got completely mired into my doggy belt (what a stupid thing, but I guess it had to be for safety). The nice lady who was driving had to stop at a parking place and "un-knot" me. Finally I sat at the right spot, with my butt on the seat and I could see the world fly by...
But I didn't know that the most horrible thing was still ahead of me: The stairs!
OMG, I will be living on the 2nd floor and these damn stairs look so slippery. I couldn't make it. My new poor Mama had to carry me up the stairs, I believe she was close to a heart attac, because I am so tall.
But then I was finally inside. Wow, it smelled so good. And I found my bowl with water and some treats in the kitchen right away.
I was so tired by that time and the last thing that happened to me that day should pay back for all the stress I had: My Mama went to bed and I had no clue that it was that big, enough for 2 to lay in it, I was so careful not to do anything wrong, but Mama just decided for me and lifted me up on the bed.
Aaaaah - sleeping in a bed! I couldn't believe it!!!
Be sure that I will post more from my new life with lots of photos here soon!
