Grandma's visit

Last week my grandma came to visit me (my Mama's Mom, the one who calls me granddog). She brought great grandma (my Mama's granny) and her dog Tara. We had so much fun playing in my huge yard. And since it was very hot we also used the new doggy pool my Mama bought for me, especially Tara went crazy in it. See yourself, especially the video is funny...

My Mama decided that my big yard is too big to be used by myself only and she also means that I am too lazy being alone in this yard all the time. So she offered to be a dog sitter for when other people are at work.
So this is my new buddy Jack. A still 4 month old pinscher.

And in this video you see how crazy Jack is, accidents can happen when playing with this little one...

But over all it is quite funny when Jack is with me. His Mama brings him every morning during the week and picks him up early afternoon again.

But honestly, I am quite jealous, but MY Mama is doing a good job by not preferring the little dog, but still loving me the most.

Finally my Mama got a new camera. Her old one as well as her cell phone broke. She is trying to take interesting videos from me, but please bare with her, she is still learning :-)

This is where my Mama brings me to several times a week to go for a loooong walk. I love this place, you can run and run and run and also make lots of dog-friends.

Here I am making friends and I can't believe Mama caught me while I tried to "mark" my friends owners with some of my "odor". Very funny...

And I also can take a bath during that long walk and drink some water. The river is called "Red Main".

Here I am visiting my little friend "Penelope". I lover her yard, it is big and I may play with her toys. It is great to beat that thing around my head :-)

These times will thank God be over soon. You see me here securing my terrace, when it was still fenced in because the big fence around the huge yard is still missing. Very soon my Mama promised...

Ouch...

Yesterday I had so much fun in our neighbor's yard, I was running on the fence with another neighbor's dog and was digging up a mouse hole. But these damn roots in the ground were in the way, so I unfortunately tore off my thumb claw - OUCH...

My Mama went with me to the doctor and now I am proudly wearing this bandage, and it doesn't hurt any more at all.

The bandage does not bother me at all, I still have fun nibbling on my stuff

I am in mourning...

My friend Rex died today. He was the brother of my girl-friend Penelope who I see everyday when my Mama brings me to the neighbor's Kindergarten to run in her yard.

RIP, Rex. I will never forget you.

Rocki on vacation VI - the last day

Aaaaah - vacation is good, and so relaxing!!!

And on the last day we drove to my Mama's family again.

Rocki, this was my place, she said to me :-)

But we both fit on her couch :-)

And the hardest part was to leave my new girl-friend behind.

The neighbor-dog Penelope has become my best friend!
... but I know I will see her again soon, when we will be moving to that area.

We loved to sleep side by side outside.

And then we were pulling a Teddy Bear each from one side.
That was fun!

And I loved to sleep on the neighbor's terrace - always with some toy with me.

I had some great vacation with my Mama and I cannot wait to get back and move to that area so I can see my new friends more often!

Rocki on vacation V - good days

I have found new friends!
The really nice neighbor at my Mama's Dad's summer house invited me to come into her yard with a very good fence to run around without a leash. What a fun that is!!!

The 3 dogs from the neighbor stayed in the house first, we made a slow start... But it did not even take 5 min starting with the girlie dog to friend them. Even the alpha male became my friend very quickly.

Now I can be in that yard every day when my Mama is having a cup of coffee with the really nice neighbor and I can run - AND - clean up the neighbors house :-)
My 3 new friends have so many toys in the house where I think these need to be outside - so I am carrying them outside, one by one...

And I don't know what's wrong with Mama and the neighbor??? Every time I carry something new outside they start cracking up and almost falling under the table laughing. I don't know, they must have gotten a sunstroke or so... 

I think it looks really good with all these blankies and toys in the yard, I really love arranging this nest every day!

And in the evening when walking back to Mama's Dad's summerhouse we start relaxing. Unfortunately there is no couch or so, only 1 armchair. But it seems like I am not supposed to sit up there, my Mama has put all this firewood n'stuff on it, so I wouldn't jump on it (I guess her Dad doesn't want that nice chair to become muddy from my feet).
But I still made it! There was not much room on it left, but yes - I made it :-)

A visit at aunt Esther

Before we went on vacation we did a quick visit at aunt Esther from CanisPro. She is the one who I have to thank so much, because she organized my new home at my Mama, the flight and everything.

I finally got to know 3 of her 6 dogs: Hanna, Bine and Rombo. Wow, that was so much fun to run with the crew through the fields. And my Mama actually let me off the leash the first time today. I think I did kind of good, I always came back, although it took very long one time - I just forget time and everything else when sniffing all this new stuff.

Thank you Esther and Mama, today I had the best walk ever!
