I am so photogenic :-)

On this week's sighthound meeting (the 3rd one with the new crowd) I finally could run with them - at least a little bit, before all these crazy girlies were all over me again.

Slowly becoming a member of the new pack...

Yesterday my Mama brought me again to a dog party of the Windhundfreunde Oberfranken. We were at a new private huge yard where the nice people have 3 Salukis, another sighthound breed. Three men, I was so happy not to have only the girlies from last Thursday around.

And one of the Salukis actually fell in love with me: Sepehr

We had so much fun playing with each other and I finally could run a bit without the girlies trying to hunt me down. I believe I slowly become a member of this pack.


And the best of all: the horse dung there tasted really delicious!

New friends in the new home

Yesterday my Mama brought me to another Sighthound meeting near my new hometown. Mama found them on the website http://www.windhundfreunde-oberfranken.de

I had a pretty hard start there, the complete group knows each other since 2 years, so they were all over me, hunting me and even trying to bite me. But I guess that's normal when you are the single man between all these girlies (yes, all but 1 other poor male are girls) and want to join their group. It took over an hour until I tried a few steps away from my Mama, but then it became better and better. Just real running I couldn't do, because then they were all over me again.

Well, Mama said we will keep meeting those crazy ones so that I will belong to their group soon, she said there will be the next meeting on Sunday.

I am in mourning...

My friend Rex died today. He was the brother of my girl-friend Penelope who I see everyday when my Mama brings me to the neighbor's Kindergarten to run in her yard.

RIP, Rex. I will never forget you.

I am a "Bayreuther" now!

After 2 weeks of living in my and Mama's new house I already feel home. 

The yellow couch is still my favorite!

My Mama already had to yell at me, because I love the new pillows so much (she bought them yesterday), that I just had to start "nibbling" on them.

And now I am a "real" Bayreuther, my Mama is now officially paying taxes for me
 - see the new tax tag on my collar!

A funny thing happened when Mama opened the letter of tax that she must pay for me:

Normally in Bayreuth it costs € 50 per year for me, but surprisingly they only wanted € 25.

You will laugh about the reason given in the letter: Living in solitude, hahahaha!

OMG - I am doing so good in the new house!

Did I already tell you that I moved to a new house with my Mama?
She had been talking a lot about it lately and now we are finally there and I can enjoy the new place. It is quite interesting, because it is still a construction site and there are so many friends of my Mama coming every day to help getting the house ready for us.

Today I had lots of fun helping to put down the new floor in the new house

Hmmmm, the new floor tastes really delicious

And when the complete living room was done I had a fun time playing in it, there is still nothing that could break or so. I was jumping up and down with my bone - what a great day!

My Mama promised me that there will be a fence around the huge yard soon. Of course first the inside of the house must be ready before starting the outside construction.

Do you remember my friend Penelope from my summer holiday in this area? Here is a picture from us when we were together during my vacation. Anyway - Penelope and aunt Gisela are (almost) my neighbors now. Whenever my Mama must run some errands I can stay there. And the best thing about it - they also have a huge yard WITH A FENCE, so I can run there a lot with my new friends.

I still cannot believe how much my life has changed within this year, but believe me - it is fantastic now!

Greyhound dog meeting

Today I had a very exciting day. My Mom took me to a Greyhound dog meeting at a very big place with a fence. We were there for about 4 hours and I was running all the time. Yeah, what a great day!
